Description
Payday: The Heist is a video game-type first-person shooter developed by Overkill Software and published by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2011. It contains six different missions playable (seven with the DLC “no mercy” inspired by the homonymous map of left 4 dead published July 25, 2012 and nine adding the second DLC “wolf pack” published Aug. 7, 2012, which also includes a new category of upgrades) in single player or online (up to four players).
The protagonists of the game are 4 robbers (Dallas, Hoxton, Chains and Wolf) whose objective is precisely to play the shots (for example in a bank to steal money or hit an armored car). The game mechanics are similar to those of the video game Left 4 Dead has inspired in which Payday: 4 players, team play is essential to complete each level and different roles; health in the game is divided into two parts: each player has a bulletproof vest that regenerates itself after a few seconds of shelter from enemy fire, when the level of armor resets the damage will hit the real life points, also hit points do not regenerate automatically, but you have to use a special medical kit. At the beginning of each level you can choose the equipment to be used in one of the 4 primary weapons, one of the 3 secondary weapons, various useful items such as bags of ammunition or medical kit and ‘crew bonus’. The crew bonuses are small upgrades, such as more charging speed and bulletproof vest plus, each player must use a different bonus, because two equal bonuses do not increase the enhancement. When a player is seriously injured and lying, must be rescued from a teammate within 30 seconds. If the time expires, the injured player is arrested by the police, and to get it back into play you wait for the enemy assault and carrying out an exchange of hostages, by simply releasing a hostage that is indicated on the map. To get the hostages must bind one of the civilians who are on the map, or try to handcuff one of the policemen injuring him without killing him and pressing a button to order him to ammanettarsi alone. For that civilians are necessary and should not be killed, otherwise the final score is lowered.
